January brings any number of new beginnings, but one we are most excited about is the opening of Julep Restaurant. Slated as "sophisticated southern" food, you'll find delicious dishes coming from the perfect marriage of a chef and a cooking school owner. Head to 3245 Larimer Street to catch this delightful duo in action. If southern isn't your style, perhaps you would be more interested in The Kennedy Station. Also opening in January, this classic American sports bar can be found at 10890 E. Dartmouth Avenue and will offer live music to go along with the scrumptious food offerings.
Get Something Brewing
No, we're not talking about a hot cup of coffee, but these spicy spots are sure to get your blood pumping! Melvin Brewing Company is planning an opening in the near future in the construction space at 1235 Delaware Street. No open date yet, but stay tuned for award-winning beer from this Wyoming-based company. Beer and coffee together — what could be better? Novel Strand Brewing owner Tamir Danon is betting that the remodeled building at 305 W. 1st Avenue will be a big hit with Denver's residents when it opens later in 2018.
Music, Festivals and More
